"A small family farm campsite in west Wales. We offer 12 pitches in 9 acres of flower rich meadows and farmland surrounded by native tree. There are buzzards and kites overhead, a meandering stream and hedgerows ablaze with wildlife. This is a truly natural Welsh haven for you to experience nestled between the Cambrian mountains and Cardigan Bay. We believe in providing a quality uncrowded farm campsite site where adults can relax and enjoy the open countryside whilst children enjoy the rugged excitement nature has to offer.
As parents ourselves, we know that a holiday should be an opportunity to unwind for all the family, so we also offer day long naturesbase survival adventures for children and parents at our local National Trust property Llanerchaeron.
Bring your own tent or if you are new to camping or want a different experience you can stay in one of our lovely fully furnished safari tents.
A core feature is the promotion of environmentally responsible tourism which we strive to incorporate into all aspects of how we manage the site. We do not have electric hook ups, this is where evenings are all about, stories, conversation, star gazing, fires and the odd glass of wine."
Initial thoughts on the client's brief
- Something quite 'organic' with the way the Naturebase Holiday is run, quite a home like feeling to the company. Perhaps suiting a hand-rendered approach to the brief?
- No real existing branding, may lead to the possibility of creating an identity for Naturebase?
- Looking at the way Naturebase is trying to convey it's image to families
- Need to pick out a target audience for which age group of children I will be aiming to create the book for.
